AWARENESS ITSELF IS THE KEY

Being aware of being aware … the sensation of being aware and alive … existing! Rupert Spira in his book Being Aware of Being Aware explores our primary, most intimate and familiar experience: the knowing of our own being, or awareness’s knowing of itself in us. However, awareness, or the experience of simply ‘being aware’, has no observable qualities and is, therefore, usually overlooked or ignored. So much so overlooked that currently technology is hijacking our minds and society.

Tristan Harris, is the leader of  Time Well Spent, a non-profit movement to align technology with our humanity. He has joined forces with a world-class team of deeply concerned former tech insiders and CEOs who intimately understand the culture, business incentives, design techniques, and organizational structures driving how technology hijacks our minds.

  • Acknowledge that you are persuadable i.e. understand that your mind can be controlled.
  • Create new models and accountability systems for an ethical pursuit i.e. the goals of the pursuer are aligned with the goals of the pursued.
  • Design renaissance in which our tech instead encourages us to live out the timeline we want.
